Modern living in a redeveloped industrial zone in Barcelona, Spain.

Located in the Poblenou District of Barcelona and completed in 2008, the modern mixed-use project marries ecological intelligence and modern design. The roofs of the project are at once striking and productive, housing either green roofs or solar PV panels. Buildings wrap around a series of through-courtyards, providing a connection with the outdoors and access to daylight and views. Design direction provided by Chris Hays, while Partner at William McDonough + Partners.
