HEDS is assisting a developer with feasibility studies for a community to be located in downtown Richmond, VA. The developer was looking for a modern architecture firm in Richmond VA to design a smart growth project — one that aims to create urban dwelling attractive for all the amenities offered: expansive garden and city views, units with multi-aspect windows, two and three story units with studio, one, two and three bedroom units located near schools, cafés, restaurants and public transportation. HEDS’ solution will be highly energy-efficient and will incorporate green design features such as green roofs and solar panels.
