Herman Miller

A unique factory full of light and fresh air.

Indoor daylighting through skylights and roof monitors, in addition to ample access to fresh air, create a pleasant work atmosphere that increases productivity and reduces absenteeism.

Signaling a new approach to manufacturing, one that enhances the health, well-being and productivity of workers, this 295,000 SF facility in Holland Michigan, was designed for Herman Miller. An indoor “street”, filled with plants and connecting a café and commons, additionally creates a community atmosphere where workers can exchange ideas and feel connected to their colleagues.
