An Amsterdam-based developer invited design team William McDonough + Partners, led by Partner Allison Ewing, to design 18,000 square meters of office space with the goal of realizing employee potential to be the best they can be.
The solution optimizes opportunities for collaboration among employees with an open, column-free floor plate organized around “neighborhoods”. Ample access to daylight and views, and individual controls at workstations, support the health and well-being of employees while enhancing productivity. The program includes a café and fitness center, among other amenities. The design concept was completed in 2001.
